Study of a viking helm & my first life study
Felt weird having objects lying beside you as a reference. Fun to set up the lightening and choose what to paint. The perspective is off and such, but hey I am going to do more of them. The crow skull is from my girlfriends jewelry box. And the pepper is home grown 🙂

Warmup, yawn
Trying to get the values right from the start. Using a rough brush and strokes, so envy of ppl that can pull that off. Really fun to set an time limit on the studies, forcing yourself to get faster.
